Our processes were designed to ensure that provider requirements were well-defined and met by vendor offerings. HIS has assisted over 150 clients in radiology, cardiology, and enterprise imaging. Though now retired from active consulting, HIS continues to stay abreast of imaging IT technology, and publishes articles and blogs on important industry topics.
Joe founded HIS in 1993 following a career with GE Healthcare, as Product Planning Manager for the first four generations of GE CT, and as Marketing Manager for GE's earliest PACS efforts. In the early days of HIS, Joe was one of the founding distributors of IBM's MedSpeak/Radiology and ViaVoice speech recognition technology, supporting multiple installations in the Midwest.
